MRI | Breast MRI
MRI is a non-invasive imaging technology that produces three-dimensional detailed anatomical images without the use of damaging radiation. It is often used for disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment monitoring. MRI can capture detailed images of the brain, spine, joints, abdomen, blood vessels, and other internal organs.
X-ray
X-ray imaging is a quick and painless procedure that uses a small amount of ionizing radiation to produce images of the inside of the body. It is commonly used to view bones and can help detect fractures, infections, arthritis, and other conditions. X-rays can also be used to examine soft tissues, such as the lungs.
Bone Densitometry (DEXA Scan)
Bone densitometry, or Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA), is a specialized form of X-ray technology used to measure bone loss. It is most commonly used to diagnose osteoporosis and assess an individual’s risk for developing fractures. This test is quick, non-invasive, and involves minimal radiation exposure.
Screening Mammography
Screening mammography is an X-ray examination of the breasts used to detect breast cancer in women who have no symptoms. The goal is to identify cancer at an early stage when it is most treatable. Screening mammograms typically involve two X-ray images of each breast.
Diagnostic Mammography
Diagnostic mammography is used to evaluate abnormal clinical findings, such as a lump or other signs of breast cancer that have been found during a physical exam or routine screening mammography. This type of mammography involves additional images and angles to closely examine the area of concern.
General Ultrasound
General ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the inside of the body. It is commonly used to view the heart, blood vessels, kidneys, liver, and other organs. Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive procedure that can help diagnose and monitor various medical conditions.
Breast Ultrasound
Breast ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique that uses sound waves to produce detailed images of the breast tissue. It is often used to further evaluate abnormalities found during a mammogram or physical exam, such as lumps or cysts. Breast ultrasound can help distinguish between solid masses and fluid-filled cysts.
CT - Computed Tomography
Computed tomography is commonly referred to as a CT scan. A CT scan is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses a combination of X-rays and computer technology to produce images of the inside of the body. It shows detailed images of any part of the body, including the bones, muscles, fat, organs and blood vessels.
